Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Children’s Health Dallas has temporarily relocated 28 patients out of an ‘abundance of caution’ because of a mold problem.

The Dallas Morning News reports that routine air testing detected higher-than-normal levels of aspergillus fungus; it’s the same mold recently linked the death of five patients at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Children’s Health says no one has developed infection and that they are in contact with the families of patients who were moved to other parts of the hospital.

Some symptoms of exposure include wheezing, reduced ability to smell, coughing up blood, fever/hills, skin lesions and more.
