
Rhome, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A Rhome man died tragically while hanging Christmas lights over the weekend.
Felipe Gallegos fell from the roof of a client’s house in argyle and suffered serious injuries. The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to WFAA-TV.
Gallegos’ wife and their 17-year old son were working with him.
Alisha Flick told the station that they heard something, and found him lying on the concrete, saying, ‘Help me, help me.’
Gallegos was rushed to Medical City Denton. He died in emergency surgery from injuries.
“He had a skull fracture and bleeding in the brain and then he had a chest fracture. And they had to drain blood from his chest.”
The couple washed windows professionally and hung Christmas lights for extra income.
