
DeSoto (WBAP/KLIF News) – A man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death in DeSoto Monday night has been arrested an charged with murder.
DeSoto police said officers were called to a home in the 1200 block of Greenbrook Drive at around 8 p.m. and found the 21-year-old victim with stab wounds to her face and body.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she later died.
Her identity has not been released.
Early Tuesday morning, the DeSoto Police Department said they suspected the victim’s ex-boyfriend, 20-year-old Matthew Gonzalez, of the murder and asked the public to help find him.
He was arrested hours later in Irving and booked on a murder charge.
