DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- Anthony De Wayne Randle is charged with robbery and murder. Dallas Police say he punched an employee in the head and stole cigarettes at a RaceTrac on Inwood Road November 1st.
Police say they found security footage of Randle attacking 39-year-old Charity Crim in a strip mall alleyway on Maple Avenue before the robbery.
According to an arrest affidavit, police said the video shows Crim backing away from Randle in a “protective manner”. Then it shows Randle ramming Crim’s head into the wall, then kicking, stomping and ramming her head into the ground repeatedly. After a minute of this, Randle walks away and comes back with a mattress. He then stomps on her again and covers her body with the mattress. Police say Crim suffered from severe blunt force trauma and was treated at Parkland Hospital where she later died on November 16th.
Randle’s bond is set at $600,000.
