BURLESON (WBAP/KLIF)- As holiday shopping begins, North Texas police departments are urging everyone to be aware of your surroundings. In Burleson Wednesday, police say a women was tased and robbed while she was getting out of her car. This was around 9:45 in the morning in the parking lot of a Ross in Burleson’s Gateway Station Plaza.
Police say it was one black woman wearing all black and a white woman wearing a light shirt and darker jacket. They drove off in a white SUV. If you have any information police urge you to contact Detective Sergeant T. Mabry at 817-426-9883 or [email protected].
“Enter and exit your vehicles quickly and make sure not to linger in your car. If you feel uncomfortable or you see anything suspicious please call 911,” the department posted on Facebook.
Meantime, Burleson PD has increased patrols in the area.
In a separate incident Wednesday, at approximately 10:24 p.m. Burleson police said two suspects stole groceries (meat and beer) from HEB, 165 John Jones Dr. as they exited the store they assaulted two employees. Subjects in this case have been identified.
