ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF)- Arlington Police are investigating a deadly hit and run and need your help locating the driver. Sergeant Michael Chitty says a woman who was walking along the shoulder of I-20 near Cooper Street was struck and killed at around 12:36 Wednesday morning. Chitty says officers were called to check on her after someone spotted her but in that time she was hit by a car that had veered off the road. He said police are now searching nearby businesses for surveillance video of the suspect’s vehicle.
