Mansfield, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A Mansfield teenager took action after seeing smoke coming from the garage of a house on Glen Eagle Drive last night.
WFAA reports that a 17-year old boy walking home from football practice, entered the home after knocking on the door and no one answered.
Inside, he found an 11-year old boy and led him outside to safety.
The child’s father pulled up as his son was walking outside. He said that his son had been in the house playing video games.
The father proceeded into the house to retrieve a dog that had been left inside.
The incident happened around 9:30.
The fire was contained to the garage; no word on the cause.
