Washington (WBAP/KLIF) – The head of Boeing took a grilling from capitol hill lawmakers for a second straight day Wednesday.
CEO Dennis Muilenburg again apologized for two 737 Max crashes that left nearly 350 people dead, acknowledging that the manufacturer made mistakes

in both the development of the plane and its response to the accidents.
Dallas Rep. Colin Allred, who sits on the House Transportation Committee accused Boeing of “purposeful concealment” with an “obvious financial drive behind it.”
Allred demanded that Boeing compensate Dallas-based Southwest Airlines and Fort Worth-based American Airlines for losses resulting from the 737 max’s global grounding. (4:08 on video)
Muilenburg said that its quarterly report earmarked billions of dollars meant to compensate the airlines and others for losses.
Also, when asked by another lawmaker, Rep. Murcarsel-Powell if he planned to resign over the Max debacle, Muilenburgh said, “No.” (4:05 on video)
