MIDLOTHIAN (WBAP/KLIF News) – Midlothian police are warning residents to be on alert as they investigate an alleged abduction attempt in the Kensington Park neighborhood.
Investigators said a young girl was walking home from Walnut Grove Middle School around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, when she noticed a black pickup truck pass her on Newgate Street and pull over.
The truck may have been a Toyota.
The suspect approached the girl from behind and grabbed her arm. Investigators said that’s when the girl kicked backwards striking the suspect in the groin area.
She managed to get free and run back to the school.
Anyone with information is asked to call Midlothian police.
