President Donald Trump arrives in DFW Metroplex Ahead of Rally

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- President Donald Trump has arrived in Fort Worth for a full day planned in the DFW Metroplex ahead of his campaign rally in Dallas. A large crowd gathered outside the Naval Air Station JRB in Fort Worth to watch his landing and motorcade to Downtown Fort Worth.

“This is the best thing in the world…the traffic is going to be bad but everything else is going to be great. Maybe he’ll turn a few heads in Dallas,” said Chris Hych who watched the landing on top of his truck.

“Whether you support him or not he’s still the president, it’s still very cool to see this and check it out…it’s not something that happens everyday,” said another spectator, Grant Lambdin.

After landing, President Trump had a motorcade to Downtown Fort Worth for an event at the city club. Then he’ll motorcade back to the NAS JRB for a helicopter flight to Johnson County where he’ll make an appearance at Louis Vuitton’s new manufacturing factory in Keene. Then he will head to Dallas Love Field Airport where he’ll have another motorcade to the American Airlines Center for a planned “Keep America Great” rally in Dallas.
