Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Outside the American Airlines Center, a group of female Trump supporters answered to those who ask, “How can women support this president.”
Some of the answers from the group of women from Des Moines, Iowa; Fort Hood; Arlington and Oklahoma:
“We love the alpha male in Trump. We feel protected, we feel safe, we feel like he’s taking bullets for us.” Another said, “We trust him.” Still another said, “He’s taking on the entire world establishment, what could be any sexier than that.”
Meantime, democratic candidate Beto O’rourke was endorsed by 39 elected officials from Texas last month; they noted his policy proposal on economic inequities and sexism
Salon.com quotes the O’Rourke campaign’s director of women’s messaging, Ann Pacilio who said, “The slate of women leaders supporting O’Rourke “shows his strength building a broad coalition of support and his ability at the top of the ticket to turn Texas blue.”
“Women in Texas and across the country are seeing Beto’s policy proposals that confront the economic inequities and sexism women still face, and how these political decisions are informing his vision for this country.”
O’Rourke’s competing rally tonight at the Theatre at Grand Prairie is dubbed, “Rally Against Fear.”
