Midland (WBAP/KLIF) – The Midland County Sheriff’s Department arrested a serial shooting suspect in connection with string of shootings targeting stranded motorists late last month — one victim died, another was wounded.
36-year old Troy Lee Wilson was arrested Friday after a 4-mile police chase. Police say he shot at four stranded drivers between September 23 and September 25th.
Wilson is charged with capital murder and is being held on a 500-thousand dollar bond.
The incidents happened just weeks after a mass shooting in the area that killed 7 people and wounded 25 others.
