Dallas – (WBAP/KLIF) -Texas has received approval from the EPA for their proposed plan to administer programs associated with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for ozone. The agency gave the OK to the state implementation plan (SIP) that meets the 2015 Clean Air Act mandates.
Regional EPA administrator Ken McQueen said “Texas understands how to run an effective air quality program. The plan shows the state’s continued commitment to protecting communities throughout the the state by meeting federal air quality requirements.”
