DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- You can expect to pay more at the pump this week, and possibly into October. AAA Texas spokesperson Josh Zuber says attacks on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia have caused scarcity and volatility in oil prices. The average price of a gallon of gas in Dallas jumped to $2.42 this week, up fifteen cents from last week. The Dallas gas prices are still well under the national average of $2.66. Zuber says that’s because of Texas’s status as a gas-rich state. He says the higher prices should last until the end of the month and could linger into next month.
