DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) Fort Worth – The Fort Worth I-S-D school board has voted to uphold its decision to terminate the contract of a teacher who sent anti-immigrant tweets to President Trump.
At a special board meeting today, the school board upheld their earlier decision to terminate teacher Georgia Clark’s contract for good cause pursuant to chapter 21 of the Texas Education Code.
The board’s vote was taken after their consideration of a recommendation from a certified hearing examiner assigned by the Texas Education Agency, to review the matter. Clark can appeal the decision and she says a lawsuit is being considered.
