(WBAP/KLIF) DALLAS – The ADL (Anti-Defamation League) hosted its inaugural Walk Against Hate in Victory Plaza that brought out nearly two thousand people. The two-mile walk promotes diversity and celebrate the values of respect and inclusion. Local Actor and Youtuber Martez McKee is a part of the LGBTQ Community and says it was very important for him to be involved in the anti-hate: “It was important to me because there’s too much hate in this world and I think that we all need to come together to spread more love because love is awesome and it conquers all. This is another step towards equality for all of us.”
ADL is a leading anti hate organization that was founded in 1913. McKee: “I think this will definitely help to bring more awareness because ADL is a big thing, they have so many sponsors, and do so many things for different communities…I think more people will start to look into ADL.” ADL Texoma Regional Director Cheryl Drazin also says: “The Walk Against Hate is an opportunity for the Dallas community to take a step in the right direction, to show unification and embrace diversity.”
