Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – American Airlines has decided to cancel all Boeing 737 max flights through December 3rd. The airline had hoped to have the airliners back in service in time for the busy Thanksgiving travel weekend. The planes have been grounded since March 13th after crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia that killed 346 people.
United Airlines had already announced it would extend flight cancellations through December 19th. Dallas based Southwest Airlines has said it won’t fly the planes again until January at the earliest.
