DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The State Fair of Texas is moving the opening day parade from Downtown Dallas into Fair Park.
Karissa Condoianis with the State Fair of Texas says this allows them to bring the parade to the fair itself.
“We are moving it to the Fair Grounds,” Condoianis said. “We are really excited about this change, it ends up bringing the parade into the Fair Grounds and this will also be in addition to our evening parade that we already have on the Fair Grounds.”
The Noon parade will take the same route that the evening parade has taken over the past several years.
The State Fair of Texas opens September 27th and runs through the middle of October.
