Richardson ISD, Others Cracking Down On Student Vaping

RICHARDSON (WBAP/KLIF News) — Some North Texas school districts say they’ve been cracking down hard on vaping.

In Richardson, school officials say between last year and just a few days into this school year, they’ve confiscated more than 200 e-cigarettes and disciplined more than 110 students.

Thirty of those students have been expelled for vaping a banned substance.

They’re not the only ones cracking down. According to our media partners at WFAA-TV, Carroll ISD took up around 70 vapes last year, and Coppell ISD confiscated more than 100.

In Princeton, there have already been 16 violations this year.
