Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – The Boeing 737 Max jets could finally be coming back to the skies.
The FAA is considering a certification flight for the aircraft in October — from there, they will determine if they’re safe enough to return to the skies.
About 600 planes have been grounded; the most affected airlines being Dallas-based Southwest and Fort Worth based American.
Boeing will test changes to the flight-control software, which has been blamed for a pair of crashes earlier this year that took nearly 350 people’s lives.
