The McKinney-based facility will boast 200,000 square feet and will pave the way for 500 new high-tech jobs.

Mayor George Fuller said partnerships with companies like Ratheon that make growth possible.

“We’re growing at record pace. We’re probably the third or fourth fastest growing city in the country. When we’re growing with companies that provide the jobs that they do…we can’t ask for anything better, ” he said.

Mayor Fuller said the company holds a more significant meaning for him because of his family.

“Knowing that the safety of my son and  every person deployed around the world is benefiting from the technology and equipment that companies like Raytheon provide, I mean that’s more important than anything to me,” he said.
