FTW Police Review Board Makes Demands After 3rd Officer Involved Shooting This Year

Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – A Fort Worth Police officer fatally shot an armed man last night.

Police were in East Fort Worth on Boca Raton Avenue to talk to the man who was a ‘person of interest’ in a recent unsolved murder.

Fort Worth Police Sgt Chris Daniels said, “As officers approached the individual he gave chase, then turned around and displayed a gun, presenting a threat.”  At least one officer fired a deadly shot.

A member of the Police Policy Review Board was on the scene according to WFAA-TV Rev. Kyev Tatum says the group wants “any and all video of the shooting released immediately.”

He noted that it’s the 3 deadly shooting in Fort Worth this year and second this month.
