Addison Police Working to Identify Man with Possible Information on Recent Murder

ADDISON (WBAP/KLIF) – The Addison Police Department is working to identify a man believed to have information in connection to a murder earlier this month.

According to Police, 82-year-old Joan Mulcahy was found dead July 1, at the Communities of Bent Tree Apartments in the 4800 block of Westgrove Drive. Mulcahy was confined to a wheelchair.

“We think he has information that we need or could benefit from in our investigation,” Addison PD Spokesman Dan Reed said.

The man is described as a White or Hispanic male, about 5’8” to 6’, black or brown wavy hair, estimated to be in his early to mid 20′s, and last seen wearing a dark, long sleeve shirt and khaki pants.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information is urged to call Addison Police Department’s Criminal Investigations during business hours at 972-450-7169.

At this point in the investigation, Addison Police does not believe there is any cause for concern for the general public.
