DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- A White Rock ‘Honor our Heroes’ Group reminds downtown Dallas businesses to show their support this fourth of July.
Davis Pittman chairman of the group says they are asking businesses to light up their buildings red white and blue or decorate with flags and banners.
Pittman said it’s impressive to see the downtown skyline lit up in unity and said it reminds first responders and veterans of all the sacrifices made.
“It makes them proud that people are remember…it’s that kind of thing that makes people feel good and unites them,” he said.
They will also have a second light up event on July 7th. They are asking businesses to light up blue in honor of the third anniversary of the Dallas ambush that killed 5 officers.
