More CareNow Urgent Care Centers in Texas

TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS) – North Texans are getting eight new CareNow urgent care locations. That after HCA Healthcare purchased 24 MedSpring urgent care centers from Fresenius Medical Care.

This acquisition will result in a total of 45 different CareNow facilities serving North Texas. The other new centers will be scattered across the state. This move also strengthens Medical City Healthcare’s position as the largest urgent care provider in the region.

Medical City Healthcare president Erol Akdamar says “We think that it’s both consumer friendly and convenient.  It also provides needed access to the community.”

Last year, CareNow and Medical City Children’s Urgent Care clinics served approximately 10 percent of the Dallas-Fort Worth population.
