Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A man has been detained, another hospitalized after a bizarre shooting involving a Dallas County DA investigator’s duty weapon last night.
Dallas Police say a man who was traveling with the investigator when she pulled into her North Dallas Parkford Oaks apartment complex when another man she knew started banging on a car window.
That’s when the man inside the car reportedly grabbed the woman’s gun and shot the man outside.
Police are trying to determine why, telling WFAA-TV:
“We will have to conduct a thorough investigation to be able to answer like how did this happen, what were the relationships, and what the believes were at the time … if we can even determine that.”
The incident happened around 10:45 last night on Mahanna Street.
