Meantime, the company that owns the apartments hit by a fallen crane is telling residents they will not be able to move back into the building.

In a letter to the residents, Greystar says the Elan City Lights complex is “totally unusable,” and that all deposits, June rent payments will be refunded.

The company also says it’s providing $100 per diems and paying for resident hotels through Friday night.  Residents are also receiving a 500 dollar allowance per apartment to help get back on their feet.
