DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Closing arguments in the murder-for-hire trial of Brenda Delgado are expected on Friday after both the state and defense rested Thursday.
The defense called a witness examining cell phone data of Delgado and others involved who have already been sentenced in the case.
While Delgado did not testify during the trial, the jury did hear an interview of her by Detective Eric Barnes days after Dr. Kendra Hatcher was shot in an uptown parking garage.
Delgado is accused of orchestrating the murder of Hatcher over an ex-boyfriend.
