KELLER (WBAP/KLIF News) — Keller firefighters responded to a house fire Wednesday morning that neighbors believe started with a lightning strike.
Our media partners at WFAA-TV reported that the neighbors saw and heard the loudest lightning strike in their life. Immediately after, firefighters showed up on Crestwood Trail.
“We experienced really loud thunder and a big clap of lightning,” neighbor Carly Abraham told WFAA. “We knew it hit something.”
Those inside the home made it out safely, but a law enforcement scanner indicated that some firefighters became trapped inside at one point. They did, however, make it out safely.
Neighbors say they heard the loudest thunder clap of their life and seconds later the house across the street was on fire. This is a developing story, as of now there are no reports of serious injury. #iamup #wfaaweather pic.twitter.com/QTr90jOzrM
