Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – A case of ‘kids being kids’ led to the tragic death of an 11-year old in Fort Worth Monday who died after being impaled on an iron fence.
Police say the victim and several other juveniles had climbed a fence to enter a locked pool area of the Ladera Palms apartments in south Fort Worth.
When a security guard told the group to leave the pool area, the group ran off, climbing back over the fence. It’s believed that the victim possibly lost his footing, causing the accident.
He was pronounced dead at Cook Children’s last night at 8:05PM
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death.
