Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) Democrat Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has endorsed Fort Worth Mayoral candidate Deborah Peoples. In a tweet, Sander said, “In Fort Worth on Saturday we can elect a true progressive for Mayor. Deborah Peoples will work to level the playing field. She will address income inequality and ensure equity for every family. Do what you can to help us get out the vote and make history! ” Peoples currently serves at the Tarrant County Democratic Party Chair. Peoples is running against current Mayor Betsy Price, who is hoping to win an unprecedented fifth term.
