ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF)- Around 600 veterans and spouses are anticipated to be at a hiring event at AT&T Stadium Thursday from 11am to 3pm.The RecruitMilitary hiring event has over 95 employers like Lockheed Martin, Pepsi and BMW.
Event Director Heidi Miller said employers are looking to give offers on site.
“Most employers are looking for veterans and veteran spouses… Someone who shows up on time has a good work ethic and shows up ready to go,” Miller said.
This event features 90+ employers and comes on the heels of Google’s recent announcement about a newly created “remote work” job search tool for RecruitMilitary job seekers seeking flexible career opportunities. This new job search tool opens the door to 7,500 remote work opportunities for military spouses and veterans through RecruitMilitary’s job board.
