Arlington Police Looking for Victims of Alleged Car Repair Scam

Arlington, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – In a tweet, Arlington Police say that they have unraveled a ‘big and fraudulent’ scam that involved cheating thousands of dollars from victims by offering car repairs.

So far, police have identified 3 victims that were taken for a total of $10,000 by a woman identified as Debra ‘Elise’ Turner.

Police say Turner would “cold call” people offering to repair damage, or present herself as a legitimate car dealer.

She’s currently in jail, as police now look for other potential victims.
