Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Just weeks before the election there is more trouble for incumbent Dallas City Councilman Kevin Felder.

This time it was Felder who called police in a dispute over one of his campaign signs.

Councilman Felder told WFAA-TV that he caught one of his District 7 opponents, activist Yvette Gbalazeh,”red-handed” taking one of his signs from outside King Auto on North Buckner Wednesday morning.

Gbalazeh posted a YouTube video (below) capturing part of the incident which picks up after he allegedly shoved her in a tug-of-war of the sign.

She’s tells the station, “He goes inside the truck bed and starts pulling the sign out, so I grab the sign and he pushes me.” Gbalazeh filed a police report claiming that her hand is cut, fingers swollen and has abrasions to a thigh.

Felder denies the claims an says he did nothing to her except confront her about taking his sign.

Felder is already facing charges in connection with an alleged scooter accident.  Dallas police are investigating.

In the video Gbalazeh is telling Felder is seen on the phone, as Gbalazaeh tells him to get the sign if it’s his.  Toward the end of the video she suggests that the sign was placed there without the property owners knowledge.
