(WBAP/KLIF) – A new poll puts former Texas congressman Beto O’Rourke in the top three, when it comes to Democratic presidential contenders.
The new national poll done by Quinnipiac University has former Vice President, Joe Biden, leading the pack with 29 percent support among democrats. Senator Bernie Sanders is second with 19 percent, followed by O’rourke at 12 percent.
Remaining presidential contenders, including former San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro, are all in the single digits.
The eventually nominee, regardless of which party, is almost always in the top three by this point in the race.
