Dallas ISD Police Release Images of Suspect, Car Involved in Armed Robberies of Students

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Police are releasing a photo of the person believed to have robbed several kids near Oak Cliff schools, and they’re asking for your help.

The photos show the suspect and is getaway car — victims say in four of the five robberies that have been reported, he had a gun.

They happened last month, prompting the district to send a letter to parents warning them to tell their kids to check their surroundings.

The schools at the center of it are Roosevelt and Kimball high schools, and Stockard and Holmes Middle schools.

Authorities said that anyone with information who sees the suspect should call police dispatch at 214-932-5627, and other information about him can be submitted by calling 972-749-2380.

Tips can also be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers at 877-373-8477 or texting “DISD” and the tip to 274637.

 

 

 

 

The school district sent a letter to parents Friday about an “increase in unwanted activity on or near certain campuses in Oak Cliff” but did not specify how many students had been robbed or at what campuses.
