Dallas City Plan Commission Approves New Salvation Army Facility

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- The Dallas City Plan Commission overwhelmingly voted Thursday night to approve the Salvation Army’s proposed new 95-million dollar, 20-acre campus in an industrial corner of Stemmons Freeway. The vote now sends the proposal up to the Dallas City Council for a prospective vote in April. The Salvation Army has been seeking a new state-of-the-art facility for the past several years.
