Dallas are searching for the driver of a black Chevy LTZ pick-up who they say is responsible for a fatal hit-and-run over the weekend.
A 3-year old boy, identified and Jorge Neri of Wichita Falls, was killed Sunday afternoon, according to police in front of Chicken-N-Rice restaurant in a shopping plaza off of W. Northwest Highway.
Investigators say the truck is registered to 24-year old Ramon Garcia-Ruiz, and was driving at the time of the incident.
The truck has Texas plates – LCM-2124.
Police say after the accident, the driver of the truck did not stop, then continued northbound on Web Chapel Extension towards I-35.
Detectives are requesting help from the community with any information on this person of interest and/or the truck.
