ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF)- A new recreation center is coming to Southeast Arlington Summer 2020.
The 36,000 square foot facility will have indoor and outdoor spaces including fitness areas, dance studios, a skate park, playground, splash pad and a walking trail on the 12 acre site.
Arlington Parks Planning Manager De’Onna Garner says this project has been in the works since 2014. “This area has been wanting a recreation center for a very long time…it’s something that’s been in the making,” Garner said.
Garner talks about the center’s focus on athletics with a large fitness center and childcare facilities.
The center will be located in the Webb Community Park.
