DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- A local Dallas business is giving temporary jobs to federal workers furloughed by the partial government shutdown. Peek’s Flooring Company has heard from dozens since placing a job application for furloughed workers on its website. Owner John Stacy says he has heard from workers with the Environmental Protection Agency, TSA, and Department of Transportation. He says he will continue to hire workers until the shutdown has ended.
