Plano City Manager Announces Retirement

PLANO (WBAP/KLIF)- Plano City Manager Bruce Glasscock will be retring at the end of April after serving the public for 50 years and the last 29 with Plano. “I’m ready to take a break and have some time to myself,” Glasscock said. Glasscock began his career with Plano in 1990 when he was selected as Police Chief, then he moved to deputy city manger and then council appointed him as city manager in 2011. “We call ourselves the city of excellence and it truly is,” Glasscock said. He said he’s honored to be a part of “Team Plano” with more than 2,000 employees who provide services for citizens everyday.
