COURTS: First Court Proceeding Since Amber Guyger Was Indicted for Murder

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A first court proceeding since former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger was indicted two months ago is scheduled for today.

Guyger was indicted for murder in the death of Botham Jean — a man who lived in the same apartment complex as her, who she says she thought was in her apartment at the time of the shooting. Instead, he was in his own apartment that September night.

Today’s court proceeding is only expected to be a formality — a trial date has not been set. Guyger may or may not appear, but her lawyers will.
