WEATHERFORD (WBAP/KLIF) – The Parker County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance after hunters found human remains.
A likely human skull and bones were found in Weatherford on Ragle Road near Lake Weatherford.
Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler says the bones were scattered in about a 50-yard radius.
The forensic anthropologist with the Tarrant County Medical Examiner think they are the remains of a Hispanic woman in her late 20s or early 30s who died anywhere from nine months to two years ago.
A piece of clothing, believed to be a bright pink waist tie from a bathrobe, was also found at the scene.
