WOLFE CITY – WBAP/KLIF – Hunt County Sheriff’s Department is investigating complaints from several residents in Wolfe City of KKK fliers being left at their homes late Saturday. Hunt County Sheriff Department spokesman Jeff Haines tells us more than 80 of the fliers have been recovered and appear to be an application to the hate group. “Hunt County and particularly Wolfe City is a very tight knit community, and people look out for one another”.
Haines is asking anyone who finds a KKK or hate group flier, or knows anything about this case, to call Wolfe City Police Department or Hunt County Sheriff’s Department immediately. “You don’t know what comes with these kind of problems. You don’t know what these nefarious type groups – what their full intentions are, or what they’re trying to stir up”.
An investigation is underway.
