DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Heavy rain moved out of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex Thursday morning but DFW Airport could experience more delays Thursday because of winter weather in other parts of the country.
Weather experts say a winter storm over the midwest continues to intensify. Cynthia Vega with DFW Airport encourages travelers to look for ‘DFW ambassadors’ to answer any questions about delays and accommodations at the airport.
“You recognize them when you come into the terminal because they are wearing orange and grey colors and they are at a help desk designated for the ambassadors,” Vega said.
The ambassador program is designed to help travelers experiencing delays or cancellations access accommodations available at the airport. Travelers are asked to stay up to date with flight information with inclement weather in other parts of the United States.
