Santa Tries To Disguise Himself Giving Gifts in DFW

NORTH POLE – WFAA – Arriving undercover in disguise, his red boots gave up his true identity.

Santa Claus arrived a little early for North Texas children this year, and reports he enjoyed it so much, he stuck around through the traditional overnight gift delivery hours into the early Christmas morning hours.  Santa  came bearing gifts, which is what partly revealed his true identity, but for his purposes in this holiday event, he wore street clothes, showed dreadlocks instead of a white blob of hair peeking from underneath a cap, and used the name “Gregory Hudson”.

“Hudson” arrived across North Texas bearing one thousand gifts carried aboard an 18-wheeler, making 8 stops in Fort Worth, Dallas, and surrounding towns and cities across North Texas.  True to the Santa Claus legend, word spread, and children and their families gathered at the truck’s stops to tell Santa what toys they wanted for Christmas.  Santa, AKA “Hudson”, obliged, and handed them out to the kids.   “Hudson” worked with the Ima Hood Survivor Foundation, Real Life Situations Clothing, Operation Community Care, DTLR, and Urban Specialists to get this mission done in disguise.

Despite reporters realizing “Hudson” was really Santa Claus doing extra patrols in the name of Christmas, “Hudson” insisted he, too, grew up as a kid in need, “When you get up, make sure you go back and take care of your people,”   No word yet on whether Santa, (okay, “Hudson”) and the community groups will pull off another surprise round of gift giving in North Texas next year.
