Hundreds of Fort Worth Homeless Vets Move Into Homes in Time for The Holidays

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- The city of Fort Worth and the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition exceeded their goal by housing over 180 homeless veterans in 100 days, just in time for the holidays. Mayor Betsy Price said with help from the Apartment Owners Association, counseling services and community programs they were able to give vets the help they needed. Price said while the 100 day challenge has ended, they will continue to work toward ending veteran homelessness.
