Richardson (WBAP/KLIF) – Janet Fein is now a college graduate! She received her degree in sociology Wednesday morning from the University of Texas at Dallas. What makes Fein unique is she is an 84 year old grandmother from Richardson. Fein decided to go back to school because she was bored with the offerings at her local senior center. It took Fein 6 years to complete her degree, but she didn’t give up. When she started she drove herself and walked into classes. By the time she was done, she used a wheelchair, oxygen and DART to get to and from class. Listen to Amy Chodroff’s interview with Fein below!
