DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A well-known corporation is making a generous donation to a local non-profit this holiday season.
ExxonMobil is giving a holiday gift of $50,000 to the Dallas-based nonprofit Family Compass to help end child abuse and neglect. According to the charity, there were more than 25,000 calls reporting child abuse in Dallas County in 2017. Family Compass works to end child abuse and neglect through life-altering, in-home mentoring and community educational programs.
“They’ve been doing [their work] for a long time now,” said Trumna Bell with Exxon-Mobil. “About 35 years now. And they care about their clients.”
ExxonMobil Chairman and CEO Darren Woods will presented the company’s annual holiday gift of $50,000 to officials with assist Family Compass.
