Frisco police are investigating another coyote attack that left two women in the hospital monday morning.
The women were treated for minor injuries after they were attacked during a jog on Eldorado Parkway between Granbury Drive and Rogers Road.
Grant Cottingham with Frisco Police said the coyote is still on the loose and could be the same one linked to previous attacks including one that forced a man to have several neck surgeries. Cottingham said the coyote has been known to hunt during early morning hours and dusk and is usually nearby areas where there’s a creek. He encourages residents to avoid the Eldorado Parkway area but if you need to bring a noise maker to scare it away.
He said once the coyote is caught they will be sending it to Animal Control Services in Austin for testing.
